Lotus Renault GP have unveiled today in Valencia the new R31 2011 F1 car in the presence of Robert Kubica, Vitaly Petrov, Gerard Lopez and Eric Boullier. Unveiled today on the Ricardo Tormo race track, the new Lotus Renault 2011 F1 car hopes to get on the top spots this year in the Formula 1 manufacturers charts.

Apart from showing the new Lotus Renault 2011
F1 car, Lotus also announced today that Bruno Senna has joined the team. Young Senna will become the third driver for Lotus Renault GP this year. Bruno will actually be a test driver for Lotus Renault GP and will get involved in the development of the new R31 2011 Formula 1 race car.

Bruno’s test driving role with Lotus will see him provide valuable input into all Lotus cars, both track and road. Lotus Director of Motorsport Claudio Berro said: “We’re delighted to have Bruno on board. In his young motorsport career he’s built up a great armoury of skills and experience. He’s a fast learner and this talent combined with his ability to shift between different types of race car will make him a great asset to Lotus.
