Mahindra Named Their New Electric Car as e2o
After Reva the Indian uto giants Mahindra coming u with another Future car e2o.This model in my opinion looks much better than Reva and if Mahindra will be able to give it a fare price tag, Then no doubt that this will be the choice of many in the future as our goverment continously hiking fuel price.
We see this model at delhi auto expo as Reva NX-R. Now Mahindra officialy name this as e2o. It appears to be the face lifted version of Reva, But no Mahindra completely Re worked on this. on 2010 Mahindra aqquired Reva and indroduced Reva in india but it was not that succesful. In 2012 august Mahindra started a movement for future with a 5C frame work.The e2o is a result of that movement. The 5Cs are clean, convenient,connect,clever and cost effective.Mahindra is planed to manufacture e2o at the Banglore plant. And the plant has a capacity to produce 30000 cars per year. Mahindra will use a next gen Li-ion Battery to power e2os electric motor. Its a 48 volt battery that will run the car for 100 kilo meters at a single charge.
Nowdays the fuel price and traffic conditions are the big problem of most people,so they can choose e2o for their daily run. But the problem is the price which is most important. Its heard that the prices are likely to be in the range of 5.5-6 lakhs which is costly considerably. but soon the electric cars are likely to get many
attractions and offers from our government so we can expect the price will be reduced in the near future.
