Tata Nano diesel engine is a 800cc Direct Injection Common rail diesel engine (DICOR) which will be shared with Tata Ace. This engine produce 42.2 BHP @ 4000 RPM. Tata is also working on a number of improvements for the Nano and will launch a facelift version of Nano with all these changes. We expect the diesel engine to debut in the Facelift version of Nano.
