Ford Ecosport bookings to start by March end
Ford will start taking bookings for Ecosport by March end and the deliveries will be starting on May-June. Ecosport will be priced competitively. The Petrol base version will be priced within 5 lakh rupees bracket.Ecosport will have two engine options. The Petrol will be powered by the 1.0 L Ecoboost Engine that pumps out 123bhp power.This engine returns 17 kmpl under ARAI test conditions.The diesel will be powered by 1.5 L DuraTorq engine.Both these engines will be mated to a Manual transmission at the launch.Later Ford will introduce the Automatic EcoSport.Ecosport will bring in real competition in the compact SUV market where the Renault Duster rules currently.
