First Look 2012 firebird

The catch phrase 2012 firebird has been floating around for many years now, and aside from being a brand new sports car it also holds great symbolic reference to the ancient metaphor of the phoenix rising from the ashes in a moment of rebirth, this is the metaphor of the 2012 firebird.

But how does this metaphor of the phoenix expressed in the phrase 2012 firebird relate to the ancient Mayan civilization and their predictions for the 21st of December 2012?

Well the ancient Maya were a very symbolic people and interestingly enough they used the imagery of birds and flying animals quite often, this concept of birds was seen in some ways as a symbol of liberty to these people, which was important, however the deeper meaning of the phrase 2012 firebird can be understood when we further look into the 2012 prophecies.

The ancient Maya predicted that in 2012 the world would come to a catastrophic end through natural disasters and other destructive phenomenon, however as any legitimate spiritualist will tell you, the end of one thing always marks the beginning of something new
, and this is what I personally believe the metaphor of 2012 firebird symbolizes, man rising from the ashes stronger and wiser than ever before as we enter into a new age.

The ancient Mayans were very in tune with both the natural world and the larger cosmos around them, which is why symbolism such as 2012 firebird is very fitting for their prophecies, they understood that they were a part of a larger world, and that what happened in our galaxy and the larger universe on some level would
affect what happened to them on earth, thus 2012 firebird having symbolism referring to the rise of man after a period of change is incredibly powerful.

2012 Firebird, realize reader, just how powerful this metaphor is, it has both sociological implications and personal implications, no matter how great of a change you go through, no matter how big of a personal disaster, the concept of rebirth is always possible and many ways is part of the natural order of cause and effect, if something is destroyed it makes way for something to be created.

So if the ancient Mayan civilization predicted the end of the world for 2012, a dramatic change that would start to take place and affect all civilization, does this mean the end of humanity ? Of course not, however it may mean the end of humanity as we know it.
